- Kadin Malone reporting on the Plain Dealing Lions for JAWS.
Thursday night the lions will suit up for there first regular season game against Green Oaks.
I sat down with Logan Allen starting QB for the Lions to talk about the season and Green Oaks. Logan had a great game in the jamboree. He was 3 - 5 - 155 yards and 2 touchdowns plus 1 carry for 16 yards. Defensively he added a fumble recovery and an interception for a 60 yard touchdown.

Kadin Malone: How do You feel the lions will play tomorrow against Green Oaks?
Logan Allen: I feel like we will play pretty good we have a lot of experience coming back.
Kadin Malone: How do you feel about Green Oaks and what worries you the most?
Logan Allen: They are very athletic and a very well coached team, and I am most worried about there size.
Kadin Malone: How do you feel the Lions season will go this year?
Logan Allen: Very well, we have a lot of experience coming back.
Kadin Malone: How does losing such a big offensive target such as Tray Harris effect you and the team?
Logan Allen: I think early on in 7V7 it was kind of hard I had got use to having such a big target on the field, but this summer a lot of younger guys stepped up which made it a little easier. All of my starting receivers have all gotten better. We can't replace Tray but the improvements of other receivers help a lot.
Kadin Malone: The lions have a pretty tough schedule this year what teams worry you the most?
Logan Allen: Haynesville. They are a very sound football team and they have a very good defense.
