The Day Northwood 'Dropped The Bass' And Renamed Their Stadium

Northwood High School has been full of spirit all day by wearing neon colored clothing and face paint to "Drop The Bass On Bossier".


Before the game started, there were a few performances made by the Blanchard Elementary cheerleader with some assistance from Falcon Line.

Once the game began, a touchdown was made by Northwood within the first 54 seconds of the first quarter.  

At half time, the score was 48 Northwood - 0 Bossier.


Before the halftime show that was performed by Falcon Line, the school honored the recently passed Jerry Burton who had been a teacher and coach at Northwood for many years. The Stadium was renamed the " Jerry Burton Memorial Stadium" by Northwood and the Mayor of Blanchard stated that September 18 would be Jerry Burton day. After the halftime show, the game continued and the final score was 55-7 in Northwood's favor.
