Bossier BearKats, Making A Strong Comeback


- Shania Reys reporting on Bossier Bearkats for JAWS.

 Before the game the Bearkat Cheerleaders get ready for a long night of cheers. The girls make sure to get all of their stretches done and practice some cheers. 


Renee Alvarado #2 has a talk with Coach Shelton to get ready for the game. Alvarado also practices some kicks for the game.
  

In the first quarter Bossier and Huntington start the game off with the Raiders putting a score on the board leaving it 6-0. Senior Brandon Harris #23 with the return fumbles the ball to be recovered by the Raiders. Raiders make another touchdown to lead the game 12-0. 


In the second half senior Brandon Harris #23 makes a touchdown for the Bearkats to get Bossier on the scoreboard. John Langston #30 sacks the Raiders quarterback to leave Raiders with a fourth down. Bossier fumbles the ball again and Huntington recovers.

  In the fourth quarter Isaiah Mckinsey pushes through the line of scrimmage to get the Bearkats a touchdown. The score is now 14-26 with Renee Alvarado's kick. The Raiders began to receive penalties towards the end of the game for false starts. The Raiders win the game with a score of 26-14.


Senior Brandon Harris #23 is the star player of the game. Brandon breaks the century mark in the fourth quarter of the game. Brandon has accomplished 109 yards rushing in order to break the century mark.
