Lions and Tigers and a Close Call... Oh My!

Plain Dealing traveled to Logansport to play the Tigers for their homecoming. The Lions came out swinging, but Logansport found a way to answer.

Both teams’ offenses came to play.   Logan Allen threw 1 TD to Isaac Jacobs and ran for 2 more.  The defense pitched in with Keldrick Carper returning an interception all the way to the end zone. But Logansport had some tricks up their sleeves and scored one TD off a reverse pass to keep the game close.

It came down to the final play: Logansport’s QB threw a bomb to the end zone into coverage.  The ball bounced off the receiver’s pads and, with a final score of 30/23, the Lions improved to 3 and 1.

The Red and Black will play North Caddo at Plain Dealing Friday night at 7 for the Lions’ homecoming.
