The Plain Dealing Lions suited up Friday for their homecoming. The girls looked great and the boys played even better.
Playing in front of a packed house, the Lions started off strong and never slowed down. Logan Allen celebrated his Homecoming King title by throwing 4 TD passes, Desean Morris and Derreon Washington both added a rushing TD, and Herbert McCauley returned a fumble for another six points. The Lions’ defense showed just how good they are by shutting out North Caddo’s offense.
The Red and Black did what they needed to do, and all the returning alumni left the stadium smiling after the 44-0 final score. The Lions advanced to 4 and 1 and hope to start district play with another victory Thursday night at 7:00 against Ringgold.
